In the days that the Phoenician navigators Cadmus and Phoenix brought phonetic alphabet to Greece and Lydia, the Thracian king Ares was making a name for himself as a warrior extraordinaire to become the Thracian war god, Mars to the Romans (Ares and Mars of the etymological root Mres) who married Amazon queen Otrera, their son Mygdon the progenitor of the Mygdonians of the southern Balkans.
