Reportedly House minority leader Kevin McCarthy is backing five of the ten House Republicans for the upcoming Republican primaries who voted to impeach president Trump, which certainly is not a good strategy to become House Speaker should the Republicans retake the House, when Jim Jordan would almost surely be elected House Speaker.
