Job was a wealthy man during the Ice Age in the Land of Uz, Uzbekistan, named for Uz who was a son of Aram (a son of Shem) who ventured the nearly two thousand miles from the upper Euphrates river (the land of Aram) to that bountiful region (verdant during the Ice Age) where was built Sham I Bhala in the shadow of the Pamir and Hindu Kush mountains near the Oxus (Amu Darya) river. Aram’s other sons, Hul, Gather, and Mash, settled along the way, Hul where today is Golestan, Gather were are the ruins of Gathar in southern Turkmenistan, and Mash where today is Mashhabad in far northeastern Iran.
