The much ballyhooed emergency meeting of the G7 today lasted a total of seven minutes, not much to say apparently, mostly Biden declaring that the U. S. military will leave the Kabul airport by the Aug. 31st “deadline,” so the pullout of the troops from the airport will begin in about three days.
