Joe Biden is desperate to sign an infrastructure bill, and if the Republicans won’t agree to one, Biden would tie it into the voting rights reconciliation bill promised later, so the Republicans should agree to sign a very concise bill for hard infrastructure (and using unused covid relief money), that president Biden wouldn’t be able to further justify the voting rights reconciliation bill promised including the much needed infrastructure which Biden would say the Republicans obstructed.
