In trying to plug his show and promote wokeness, Ali Velshi has an ad for his show on MSNBC in which he notes that Thomas Jefferson wrote that slavery is abominable and had been brought on by the king of England, practiced by some in the Colonies, mostly in the South where about 1% owned slaves yet the union impossible without slaving allowed, independence met for slaves but the groundwork laid.
