Christians Engaged, a political action group in Garland, Texas, has been denied tax-exempt status by the IRS because “biblical causes tend to favor the Republican Party,” so while obviously it’s an unjust ruling (are the “atheistic” political action groups denied tax exempt status?), it does show that the Democrats trying to co-opt Christianity as supportive of socialism is certainly specious intellectually.
