When Jacob was on his way south on the east side of the Jordan to make amends with Esau of Edom whom he had cheated out of inheritance, Jacob wrestled with a man (see Genesis 32 ch 32) all night long, wrestling to a stalemate until the man merely touched Jacob’s hip and dislocated it, after which Jacob become named Israel said that he had seen the face of Elohim, probably a theophany of the Son Jesus like He was walking with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before the Fall.
