Judaism teaches that Sheol is within the earth, like a cell, a concealed place, translated Hell in some versions of the Bible, etymologically the same as the word cell, and the word hollow, a Japhetic word apparently learned and changed slightly from the Hebrew word Sheol after the Tower of Babel.
