Children (and adults) are thrilled by the great beauty and wonder of the creation with its fascinating designs and functions clearly caused by the purposeful and benevolent Creator (matter having come from nothing was a miracle in-and-of itself), so children (and adults) having Elohim-given conscience connect the two, the sense that doing wrong is not pleasing to the Creator Elohim, which is why the children loved and love Jesus, the Messiah, for His power to forgive and provide the way to eternal life.
