As members of the fallen creation, humans having Elohim-given conscience and free will are obligated to choose between Elohim’s way or Satan’s way while the animals are not obligated because they are not capable of repentance rather only of obedience (sometimes not!), so people’s pets perhaps will be in heaven for those born again to enjoy when the creation is redeemed, all the creation groaning now in wait of that redemption. To see your pet in heaven is not the reason to be saved quite obviously (there’s no guarantee the pets will be there), but that the animals will not be under judgment while people will the lesson to be learned, humankind made in His image with a spiritual decision to be made.
