Black settlers in Tulsa, Oklahoma a hundred years ago generated such wealth that they were the envy of many, lost though in the tragic Tulsa Riot in 1921, that wealth lost which had been gained within fifty years of the Civil War when blacks were treated much worse than any blacks since affirmative action and the Great Society were begun fifty years ago, reflective of the breakdown of the family unit.
