Since man-caused carbon dioxide is supposedly raising the temperature of the atmosphere, if AOC would propose that her Civilian Climate Corps would plant a hundred million trees to eat up that “excess” carbon dioxide then it might get bipartisan support in Congress. The trees (including lots of fruit trees?) paid for by the government could be planted on prairie land where rainfall is sufficient for such growth, the landowners who would accept the trees to manage and sell, obligated to replace.
