Thessalus a great grandson of Pelasgus (that’s Peleg in Genesis 10) was the namesake of the region of Thessaly on the Aegean midway up the Greek peninsula, there having founded Larissa which means fortress in Pelasgian, and one of the islands of the Sporades off the coast of Thessaly is called Pelagos, with submerged ruins in the area as well as many others along the coasts of Greece.
