Almost inexplicable is that a trained police officer thought a gun was a taser to have caused the tragic death of Daunte Wright, but the fact remains that a warrant was out for Wright for carrying a pistol without a permit, which doesn’t mitigate the culpability of the officer for the shooting accidental it seems, yet perhaps by Wright’s license plate they knew he had a warrant out for a gun law violation.
