Progeny of Atlas’s daughter Maia (a great granddaughter of Canaan) became known at the Maiaimi who during the Ice Age built the structures now submerged off the island of Bimini (Andros too), and settled around lake Maiaimi (now called Okeechobee) in southern Florida, so there’s good reason to believe that the Mayans to the south built structures on the coast during the Ice Age too.
