Gogmagog the giant who lived circa 1100 b. c. where today is Cornwall was killed by the newly arrived Trojan Corineus with Brutus (a son of Aeneus) for whom became known Cornwall and Britain, yet some of the ancient chronicles show the giant’s name as Goemagot, thus the change to Gogmagog may have come after the early evangelism of Britain, like Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 & 39 of the Old Testament (written originally though as Gog Of Magog, Gog a person not a tribe as of Magog a son of Japheth).
