In case you were wondering how the establishment types would respond to chief justice John Roberts’ refusal to preside over an impeachment trial of an ex president, the reason now beginning to circulate is that the Constitution doesn’t say who should preside over an impeachment of an ex president (which is because impeachment trials are for sitting presidents to be removed from office!)
