Imagine the social media platforms being potentially liable in court for every post made by millions of customers, which would certainly cause them to censor more across the board to avoid lawsuits against them, so Section 230 protection should remain, and the up-and-coming social media companies free to sue server providers which won’t provide service to platforms not of their political liking, in a sense a civil rights issue involving freedom of assembly, online rather than in town squares.
