One of the stories about Saint Nicolas (Santa Claus) of Myra, Turkey circa 300 a. d. is that he resurrected three children who had been killed for food during a famine, pickled and put in the market, sold as pork, which is a story so bizarre that it brings to mind the saying “you can’t make that stuff up.”
