Generally the mortality rate by the influenza virus is said to be about 0.1% (1 death out of every 1,000 infected), more lethal for young people than is the wuhan virus which is more lethal to the elderly or chronically ill, the wuhan which reportedly has killed about 200,000 Americans out of about 200,000,000 infected for a mortality rate (what Trump calls lethality) of about 0.1% too, but considering many deaths by other causes of people who happened to be carrying the wuhan are counted as wuhan deaths, the mortality rate (lethality) of the wuhan is perhaps 0.05%, far less than by the influenza virus.
