Plato wrote that Atlantis and some of Greece were consumed by the sea in the timeframe of the kings Cecrops (Cecropia/Athens), Erechtheus, Erysichthon, Erichthonios, and Theseus, men in history who lived circa 1400 b. c. to 1300 b. c., just after the Hebrews’ Exodus out of desiccating Egypt, and just before the Sea People began to invade the eastern Mediterranean from the western where had been the empire of Atlantis, consumed by the sea which was also called by the Greeks the flood of Ogyges and the flood of Dardanus (Dardanelles), the end of the Ice Age.
