Somewhat surprising is that the Democrats seem resigned to accepting that president Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court will be confirmed, so the only question for them now is whether to behave like hyenas as they did against Brett Kavanaugh during the hearings (however short) or to gracefully accept the inevitability so people won’t see their true natures as rabid progressives? Even if the Democrats change their tune should lightning-rod Amy Coney Barrett become the nominee, that hyena nature would not be a good look for the Democrats with the election only weeks away.
