After the voting was over in the 2000 presidential election, the stock markets dropped 8% while the hanging chad controversy cast doubt over the election result, so it seems reasonable to believe that investors now are seeing the same type of potentiality, afraid the Democrats and Never Trumpers are going to steal the election, or at least trying very hard to steal it.
