Pelosi and Schumer may soon decide to call a truce with the Republicans concerning their negotiation over the economic relief package (the unemployed are still getting state checks) because the Democrats look like socialist zealots with a “progressive” pork-belly spending package over $2 trillion too expensive which is viewed if not totally ridiculous then certainly unnecessary by probably 70% of the electorate.
