Think of the dozens if not hundreds of people who helped Noah and his family build the Ark but then refused to be saved when offered the opportunity to come aboard before the Flood came, they are like professing Christian today who have worked hard (to get themselves to heaven) but have not been born again (the only way to see heaven).
