The 3,000 year old gold mine shafts in Mount Ophir (Gunung Ledang) of Malacca in southeast Asia are said to have been a source of gold for king Solomon, and Las Minas del Rey Salomon in Spain, rich gold mines in the Sierra Morena mountains of southwestern Spain, prove that Solomon was truly the richest man in the world. Ophir was a son of Joktan and grandson of Heber who sailed east from Mesopotamia around the southern tip of India nward to where he discovered that gold rich mountain, and Las Minas del Rey Salomon were continuations of Atlantean mining operations several centuries previously.
