Blacks as Policemen Trying to Help Their Communities Demonized Right Along with White Officers so Why Bother?

Why would a young black man want to become a police officer to help his low income community become safe if he knows that he’ll just be harassed and maybe killed for trying to save lives and property, for not being “down with the cause?”
