King David certainly believed Noah’s Flood happened as recorded in the book of Genesis because he wrote in Pslam 104: 5-9 (be sure to read it) that the flood water topped the mountains (of the pre Flood world the tallest only several thousand feet above sea level) and then slid off into the deepening ocean basins (see Page titled Natural Selection by Noah’s Flood) where the waters would remain, never again to flood the earth, the rainbow in Genesis the sign of Elohim’s pledge to not flood the earth again.
