S. cases of the wuhan virus and the number of deaths by it, those numbers respectively now about 1,200,000 reported cases and about 75,000 deaths, which is designed to create the impression (if only subconsciously) that the mortality rate by the wuhan virus is about 6%, when in reality it might be as low as 0.06% (about 80,000,000 infected with about 50,000 dead, padding corrected).
