Going for a more rapid achievement of herd immunity in Sweden by less severe isolation measures for younger and healthier people, the death toll by the wuhan virus there is about 2,700, in that nation of about 10,000,000 people, so considering that the mortality rate by the wuhan is about 0.1% (of people infected by it), perhaps about 3,000,000 Swedes have been infected, and in the U. S. with about thirty times the population, the death toll (about 40,000) is roughly twenty times greater than in Sweden, thus the more stringent isolation measures in the U. S. apparently of little benefit.
