Great ideas sometimes come from thinking outside of the box, probably not in the case of Trump’s wondering whether light could somehow be applied internally to battle the wuhan virus, and elements of disinfectants to possibly be utilized in some form to fight the virus. We know Trump wasn’t talking about injecting disinfectant, rather to investigate properties of disinfectants which could be harnessed in the lab to battle the virus, and the light-application idea is probably out of the realm of possibility, yet perhaps Trump has sparked thinking in areas of research which could bear fruit, although his having shared those thoughts would have been better left out of the wuhan press briefings.
