New York governor Andrew Cuomo made an illogical and clumsily deceitful case today for the feds to fund his state government, that while the federal government should fund businesses and individuals to carry them through the economic shutdown, the feds should also provide funding for his strapped state’s budget, because if the feds won’t, he (Cuomo) will have to cut supposed funding to New York businesses, funding which the federal government is doing!
