Over three times more Americans have died by the common flu (about 50,000) than have died by the wuhan virus (about 15,000), the two viruses apparently with approximately equal spread within the population (about 40,000,000 infected by each), so could it be that the influenza virus in the U. S. is actually two or three more times lethal than is the wuhan virus?
