When the Israelites in Egypt smeared lambs’ blood on their doorposts to save them from the death angel, they were foreshadowing the day when Jesus Christ the Lamb of Elohim would shed His blood that all who love and embrace His sacrifice will ge saved, the Passover from death into eternal life.
