Today at the press conference about the corona panic, the CDC’s much trusted Anthony Fauci urged all elderly and/or chronically ill Americans with serious conditions to stay away from crowds (on airplanes, cruise ships, sporting events, etc.) where they could contract the corona virus, just as they should stay away to prevent their contraction of the other flu viruses said Fauci. The passengers on the detained cruise ship off the coast of California are mostly older folks in their 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, so with twenty-one cases reported on that ship so far (and probably more to come), a few fatalities eventually would not be a surprise at all, just as would be by the other flu viruses with similarly low mortality rates.
