Seeing the South Carolina primary looming large, set for Saturday, Crazy Bernie Sanders though will be campaigning in Massachusetts (home of Pocahontas) on Friday and Saturday, so is he reading internal polling showing he’ll win South Carolina, or conceding a second place finish, or feigning confidence that he’ll win South Carolina in order to snooker voters his way on Saturday? Whichever the case, it’s a smart move because those late afternoon voters in South Carolina will be watching Crazy Bernie’s big rally on the Boston Common, perhaps figuring to get onboard with the presumptive frontrunner.
