Andalusia, the district of southernmost Spain, was named for Indalo, a “neolithic” god whose ancient etchings show arms stretched out to the sides holding an arch overhead, like a protractor in the sky, said to be a rainbow yet Atlas (Indalo) was famed for geometry (earth measure) and for holding up the sky, Atlas the legendary navigator who charted the sphere of the earth by the method described at right under the Page titled Great Pyramid for Navigation. In that district of Andalusia is Medina Sidona, said to be the oldest city of Europe, built by Sidon (a son of Canaan) the erstwhile Posidon, father of Atlas.
