A big narrative coming out of the establishment media in the aftermath of president Trump’s wonderful State of the Union address is that he was only appealing to his base, which therefore though must be about 70% of the electorate, having witnessed the honoring of a black hero military aviator on his one hundredth birthday, touting the success of prison reform, and lampooning the Democrats’ bright idea to provide tax-funded healthcare insurance to illegal aliens.
