Suppose president Trump actually had threatened to withhold military aid to Ukraine if Zelensky wouldn’t help root-out corruption (his main campaign pledge), then considering a major Democrat presidential candidate (Sleepy Joe Biden) was involved in that suspected corruption, couldn’t Trump have seen Zelensky complicit in the effort to elect Sleepy Joe to the U. S. presidency?
