As long as the Republicans maintain their stance that if there will be witnesses at the impeachment trial, as many Republican witnesses as Democrat will be called, then squishy Republican senators Romney, Collins, and Murkowski, who are indicating they want Bolton to testify, would be forcing Sleepy Joe or Hunter to come in to testify too, so that gruesome Senate threesome would face the ire of president Trump’s supporters and Sleepy Joe’s supporters too should they vote for more witnesses.
