The impeachment process is set-up that the House of Representatives formulate the case, and then the Senate judges the case, so if Nervous Nancy Pelosi needs more witnesses to further formulate the case (although she’s already completed the articles of impeachment), it’s her job not the Senate’s to compel more witnesses to come forth, by court decision if necessary.
