If the impeachment fiasco were hurting president Trump, then he would have a reason to create an incident (killing Soleimani) to divert attention away from impeachment, but since the impeachment charade is greatly helping Trump in the polls, and considering that the timing and place of the attack on Soleimani was perfect (in Iraq while he was planning attacks on U. S. assets), that some leftists such as Pocahontas Warren are claiming “wag-the-dog” just shows they think the American people are stupid.
