Reportedly the Republican U. S. senators are leaning toward a quick trial with few or no additional witnesses should Nervous Nancy transfer the articles of impeachment to them, so facing Trump’s quick acquittal in that scenario, she seemingly would rather not suffer that indignity, instead suffer what she would consider a lesser indignity by sitting on the articles of impeachment, even adding to them, but never submitting them to the U. S. Senate.
