Today on CNNLOL, North Carolina University law professor David Gerhardt said the judicial system, during an impeachment of a previous U. S. president, refused to rule on an intra Senate squabble about the rules for the trial to remove the president from office, that therefore the judicial system cannot or should not intervene to say that president Trump has the right to withhold witnesses, but the previous ruling was for a dispute within one branch of government (legislative the Senate), while in Trump’s case it”s between two of the three branches of government (executive and legislative), so Gerhardt needs a remedial Constitutional law course, maybe his students can instruct him!
