Today at the impeachment hearing, professor Jonathan Turley scolded the Democrats for having deemed president Trump’s taking disclosure witness requests of him to court an impeachable offense (ostensibly obstruction of justice), because in calling that a crime for impeachment, they are trying to make illegal a constitutionally prescribed right of the president to contest requests in court.
