As we remember that only works done for the Kingdom will be rewarded in heaven, what’s the point in spending many hundreds or even thousands of dollars on Christmas gifts for those already with much, shouldn’t real Christians be supporting or sowing themselves good will by their giving to the Christian organizations or individuals promulgating the Good News of Jesus Christ or working to help provide for Christians persecuted in many parts of the world? What would Jesus say, what do you say?
