We don’t know the exact condition of Spiritual enlightenment in the pre-flood world (the extent of the knowledge about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden), yet we do know that the world became ever more wicked that by the time of Noah and his sons, the Creator Elohim decided to judge the world by a global encompassing flood (see Page at right Natural Selection by Noah’s Flood), and the generations after the Flood held remembrance of that global catastrophe, in the legends of disparate people groups from around the world, therefore, they knew that the Creator judges, saving some.
