In his opening statement which he’ll read this morning to the House intel committee (the infamous “impeachment inquiry”), the NSC’s Alexander Vindman says that it was not proper to demand that a foreign government (Ukraine) investigate a U. S. citizen, in his case Joe Biden (and his son Hunter), that’s Mr Vindman failing to acknowledge that Sleepy Joe had nixed a Ukrainian investigation of Hunter and Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1.5 billion loan guarantee for Ukraine. Trump’s “quid pro quo” was merely a request to complete the process in that case, along with help to investigate CrowdStrike (which conducted the forensics on the “hacked” DNC server to the exclusion of Comey’s FBI).
