Wick Like Oikos Past Participle of Videre Japhetic Etymology Weid for Vicus Like House in Sanskrit Visa Realm of Control

Translate:

The etymology of the English word house is supposedly unknown, but visa in Sanskrit means house (with a vista), and oikos (economy) in Greek is of the same etymological root as wick (for instance in Brunswick), so considering vicus in Latin is the past participle of the verb videre which means to see, apparently house has to do with a homestead, as far as the eye could see. Interestingly, the word for vision in Old English, eagsyne, looks a lot like oikos for household doesn’t it?
